Edwardian Mugshots

There's something about vintage mugshots that offer a certain intrigue. Perhaps it's the fact that everyone seems dressed in their Sunday finest, at least by today's standards. I'm not quite sure what it is really that draws me to them. I've seen many interesting ones in the past ranging from the 1920s to 1970s but only this morning did I come across this set of Edwardian mugshots taken in England at the North Shields Police Station. My favorite is the last woman whose curlers seem to say "I love...."
