In 1912, my great grandmother wrote and recorded a song called Texas Nightingale Waltz. I've always known of the song but only last week did I finally jump the gun and buy a record player that could play 78s. It's crazy, I know! Luckily my new record player is fancy enough to record albums to my computer. So here it is, the world debut of Texas Nightingale Waltz set to the 1902 film La Fee Printemps, just over 100 years late to the party!
