Vintage 1950s pale cream true cashmere cardigan with large off white fur collar. Body is lined. Four dainty pearlized buttons at the waist. These buttons are decorative and the cardigan actually closes with double hooks and eyes. Collar snaps on and can be removed for cleaning.
Vintage 1960s cream day dress in lightweight, airy acetate. Bodice is ever so slightly bloused. Sleeveless cut with the best sailor-style collar. Fitted waist. Loose fitting skirt with inverted pleats that hits just below the knees. Zips up the back.
This gorgeous Bob Mackie gown is a classic example of 1970s does 1930s. Made of slinky black fabric, I'm guessing some kind of glossy nylon acetate with sheer abstract blocked accent fabric. Dress clings to the body and features a deep keyhole neckline that ties. Flouncy sheer butterfly sleeves that gracefully flow into a caped back collar. Sheer flamenco style hemline. Dress slips over the head.

This set is such a sweet one, so reminiscent of the clothing seen in David Hamilton's photos from the 1970s.
