This gorgeous Bob Mackie gown is a classic example of 1970s does 1930s. Made of slinky black fabric, I'm guessing some kind of glossy nylon acetate with sheer abstract blocked accent fabric. Dress clings to the body and features a deep keyhole neckline that ties. Flouncy sheer butterfly sleeves that gracefully flow into a caped back collar. Sheer flamenco style hemline. Dress slips over the head.

Bodice features a V neck in front and a peek-a-boo keyhole in the back that closes at the back of the neck with a hook and eye. Darling deco rhinestone pin is attached at the lower back for added glamour. Sleeves are gathered for a slight puff effect and gathered down the center. The midwaist is pointed, for a divided bust. The skirt loose fitting and hits mid calf to ankle, depending on height. This vintage beauty slips over the head with no side closures.
